Bank teller hands out $23K by mistake in Minsk

The bank has announced a reward for helping to locate the client.

The client came to the currency exchange office in order to exchange $ 2 300 to Belarusian roubles. The cashier mistakenly counted 10 times more. The man took the money and left.

The shortage was discovered several hours later. The bank passed the video records of its surveillance cameras to the police. The police promised to help to find the man. If the citizen returns the money to the bank, he will not be subjected to responsibility, according to the police.

A similar story happened in Minsk in March. However, the man returned extra Br 53 million to the teller then.
