Unknown animal killed in Dokshytsy district

The incident happened on July 21 on a tilled field near agrotown Prudniki.

The workers of the local milk farm caught and killed an unknown animal that attacked cows and calves.

Chief Veterinarian of Dokshytsy district Ales Salauyeu took the animal's corpse and brought it to the veterinary station. He said this animal wasn't alone. two of the kind managed to escape. The veterinarian cannot identify the species of the animal. He says that hunters also argue on this point.

Hunter from the Belarusian Partnership of Hunters and Fishermen Dzyanis Paulavich supposes it was a mutant: "I saw this animal's corpse at the veterinary station. It's difficult to say what it was. I think it was a mutant. To me, it looked like a hyena. It had something from a fox, something from a raccoon and something from a dog."

Chief Veterinarian of Dokshytsy district Ales Salauyeu doesn't see any sensation in this case and plans to burn the animal's corpse, informs the website kraj.by.
