Dima Lukashenka's scam misfires

A live broadcast of the KENO lottery draw was stopped due to a “technical glitch”.

The show started on Belarus 2 TV channel at 21:20 on July 30. Some time later, the ball selecting device broke and the broadcast was stopped.

Charter97.org learnt it from a reader. He was angry to see that the lottery website later posted the numbers of the winning balls, but they differed from those shown on TV before the breakdown.

“The most interesting is that the winning combination was absolutely different. The people who guessed numbers of ten balls (before the mechanism broke) were deceived, because their results were annulled later. There are no explanations and apologies on the website,” he wrote.

“Yesterday's broadcast was stopped due to a technical problem – a ball got stuck in the mechanism. It happens sometimes. The lottery was redrawn and shown on Belarus 2 TV later,” charter97.org learnt from Iryna Urbanovich from the information support group of Sport-Pari company that holds the KENO lottery.

Closed Joint Stock Company Sport-Pari, a scam for Belarusians hoping for a miracle and easy money, was founded in 2007 to “promote the latest game technologies in Belarus”.

The company's stakes belong to the Republican State and Public Association President`s Sports Club headed by Dmitry Lukashenka, the middle son of the Belarusian ruler; private unitary enterprise SEN-KO owned by EU blacklisted regime's sponsor Vladimir Peftiev; and joint Belarusian-British Company Business Network Ltd founded by Beltechexport company, Belarus's main arms exporter.
