Maduro hurriedly flew from Minsk

Visit of the President of Venezuela in Belarus was short.

The official visit of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Belarus concluded on 3 July.

On 3 July Nicolas Maduro held official talks with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenka. The presidents discussed the entire spectrum of the Belarus-Venezuela relations, including cooperation in trade, economy, and politics; they also reviewed joint projects and outlined promising cooperation avenues. The presidents reaffirmed their commitment to closer bilateral cooperation which was established under the presidency of Hugo Chavez.

On behalf of the government and the people of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro expressed solid respect for the President of Belarus.

Nicolas Maduro was among the guests of honor at the Independence Day military parade. Before his departure, Nicolas Maduro laid a wreath at the Victory Monument.
