Viachaslau Shelieh was beaten by policeman

The entrepreneur managed to identify the person, who attacked him yesterday evening.

The member of the organizational committee for the creation of the party Belarusian Christian Democracy Viachaslau Shelieh claims that the attack took place, when he parked his car at a parking lot near a police department building. They admit at the police department that the incident took place, however they refuse to comment on it.

“Of course, we know about the incident, but at the current moment we are not ready to comment on that. So far we are carrying the incident’s investigation”, - they said at the police department.

In the meanwhile Viachaslau Shelieh underwent a medical expertise, meant to register the fact of the beating. He claims that that he had bruises on both shoulders registered. As to the incident, the activist cannot explain what caused the policeman’s aggressive behavior.

He managed to find out the policeman’s name already after the incident.

“Andrej Barysenka. I approached him and said that I would file a complaint. At once he refused to introduce himself, but from the second attempt he did”, - Viachaslau stated.

The policeman beat Viachaslau Shelieh yesterday evening near the building of Babrujsk town executive committee’s police department.

The entrepreneur and a member of the organizational committee for the creation of the party Belarusian Christian Democracy went there to pick up his wife, Maryja Shelieh was being interrogated on the case of the kidnapping and beating of their daughter Natalia. The entrepreneur’s spouse was summoned to the inter-district department of the Investigatory Committee, which was dealing with the scandalous case. The department is located in the building of Babrujsk’s police department.

Maryja Shelieh belongs to the disability group of the second type, it is hard for her to walk, so the husband came for her and left the car near the building – at a police parking. That is where the incident took place.
