Lukashenka sent a herald to Baku to get an inside on Putin

On 13 August the President of Russia visited Azerbaijan. Had he just left, the head of Belarus’ KGB Valer Vakulchyk arrived there.

Lukashenka’s herald-at-large went there to get the maximum of information while the scent was still hot and discuss Putin’s visit, AFN believes.

Formally Vakulchyk was invited by the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan. The head of this institution even had a meeting with the head of Belarus’ KGB.

“Various manifestations of transnational organized crime, especially terrorism, which is constantly expanding and taking threatening shape, extremism, illegal drug trafficking, migration processes and problems caused by all that were discussed during the meeting”, - Azerbaijan MNS press-service’s statement says.

However, it is obvious that the purpose of Valer Vakulchyk’s mission to Baku literally on the heels of Putin is obtaining an inside on Vladimir Putin’s stay there.
