Ministry of Justice bribetakers took licenses away from political prisoners’ counsels

The officials, detained by KGB, took licenses away from the counsels, who defended the participants of the Square manifestation.

The information came from a human rights activist Tacciana Raviaka, Radio Svaboda reports. One of the detained bribetakers is the head of the advocacy and licensing department Halina Hryshkaviec, another one is her deputy Natalia Bierazouskaja.

“These are exactly the people, who deprived counsels of licenses on the Square 2010 cases, and in June Hryshkaviec commented: “For what I know, they found a better paid job, they are no longer interested in a counsel’s license. They periodically give some comments, make speeches. I think their activity is well paid, according to the Internet”, - Hryshkaviec was convinced”, - Tacciana Raviaka said.

We would remind that yesterday KGB reported of the head of a Ministry of Justice department and her deputy’s being caught red handed when taking a $1000 bribe and arrested.

In the course of the preliminary investigation it was established that the Ministry of Justice officials used to repeatedly receive illegal money rewards for assisting favorable resolution of the issues of their competence and related to their professional activities.
