Uladzimir Yaromenak to be tried again

A political prisoner is again accused of violating the rules of police supervision.

Uladzimir Yaromenak learnt it from a summons to appear in Minsk's Pershamaiski district court, Viasna human rights centre reports.

On August 20, Minsk's Pershamaiski district court sentenced the Young Front activist to 3 months in custody for violating the rules of police supervision (article 421 of the Criminal Code). Officers of the corrections department perhaps were not satisfied with the court decision and filed new materials to the court.

The case will be heard in the Pershamaiski district court on 9 Tolbukhin Street, office 25 at 10:00 on August 28.
