Jakaulieuski: With Lukashenka there can be only one dismissal – prison

A political observer Raman Jakaulieuski does not believe that the Prime-Minister Mikhail Miasnikovich could appeal for dismissal.

Raman Jakaulieuski reminds that after the events of 19 December 2010 the same act was attributed to Makej, Radio Svaboda reports.

“I do not rule out that this information is not true, because I do not know who during the rule of Lukashenka could lately openly express their disagreement and quit. There is only one dismissal with Lukashenka – to prison. I do not think that Miasnikovich dared to submit such an appeal. By the way, after 19 December 2010, there were rumors that Uladzimir Makej, who then was the head of the Adminstration, did not agree with Lukashenka’s actions. Allegedly he also appealed for quitting. But like in that case, in this one too the rumors are like a trial balloon. I do not think that our officials are so brave that they can say “Aliaksandr Lukashenka, I do not agree with your actions and quit”, This is impossible!”, - Raman Jakaulieuski notes.

Volha Douhaja, Mikhail Miasnikovich’s press-secretary, commented on the information of the Prime-Minister’s quitting with one sentence:

“I do not comment on rumors”, - Douhaja said.

We would remind that information came out today that after the arrest of the head of Uralkali Vladislav Baumgartner Miasnikovich appealed for quitting on his own free will.
