Parfiankou and Jaromienak sentenced to five days in jail

The former political prisoners are in jail in Akrestsina Street.

“On Friday Uladzimir Jaromienak and Vasil Parfiankou received phone calls from Piershamajski police department and they were asked to come over in Monday. It turned out they had been sentenced to 5 days in prison each on Friday 13 September for violating the supervision conditions. They trial took place without their participation. The decision was taken by a judge of Piershamajski court Harbatouski. Today Uladzimir and Vasil will start serving the administrative arrest. Their cell phones are already unavailable. We are waiting for them in 5 days”, - the former political prisoner’s wife posted.

On 20 August the court of Minsk Piershamajski district sentenced a Young Front activist Uladzimir Jaromienak to 3 months in prison, having found him guilty of violating the regulations of preventive supervision (article 421 of the Criminal Code).

In May the court of Minsk Piershamajski district considered the case of Vasil Parfiankou. He was also accused of not following the requirements of preventive supervision and sentenced to six months in prison.
