Tell the Truth performance: Go ... yourself (Video)

A performance with placards and pig heads was held in Minsk's Yakub Kolas Square.

It was organised by Zmena, the youth wing of the civil campaign Tell the Truth. Pavel Vinahradau, who went home after the performance, was detained, Belsat reports. “He was taken from the Maskouski district police station to the Savetski district. I am going there now,” Sviatlana Vinahradava, Pavel's wife, says.

“Pigs are protesting. We had many protesters before – toys and statues. This time pigs decided to demonstrate active citizenship. Pigs are cultic animals for Belarusians,” Pavel Vinahradau said before he was detained.

The United Civil Company launched the campaign “Go ... yourself” against imposing a tax on shopping abroad.
