Jarmoshyna suggests trainings for election falsifiers

The chairwoman of the Central Electoral Commission Lidzija Jarmoshyna, who is included in the EU’s sanctions list, recommends arranging trainings for the members of electoral commissions in Minsk.

She made such a suggestion today at a meeting at Minsk City Executive Committee on the issues of organizing and holding the elections of municipal councils of 27th convocation, BelTA reports.

“It is very useful when in the conditions of a model role play chairmen and members of electoral commissions learn how to work in complete accordance with legislation”, - Lidzija Jarmoshyna believes.

The most attention at the trainings will be paid to the “correct order of organizing of the votes count and filling in the protocols on election results”.

“We believe that this is the most effective training mode. There were no such trainings for the previous municipal elections, - Jarmoshyna said. – The program of the trainings was developed by the CEC of Belarus. By the way, Georgia and Moldova expressed interest in it”.

We would remind that all electoral campaigns held in Belarus since 1996 were recognized as unfair and unfree by the OSCE. The head of the Central Electoral Commission Lidzija Jarmoshyna is forbidden to enter the European Union countries and the USA because of electoral frauds and human rights violations.
