Hanlon names 23 players for February training camp

Head coach of the Belarusian national ice hockey team Glen Hanlon named 23 players for the February training camp ahead of the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge which is due in Gdansk.

Attending the training camp which opens on 1 February will be the following players:

goaltenders: Andrei Mezin (Avangard Omsk, KHL), Vitaly Belinsky (Yunost Minsk);

defensemen: Andrei Antonov (Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, Russia), Oleg Goroshko, Andrei Filichkin, Ilya Kaznadei, Yevgeny Nogachev, Ivan Usenko (all – Dinamo Minsk, KHL), Andrei Karev (Yunost Minsk), Nikolai Stasenko (Severstal Cherepovets);

forwards: Alexei Volkov (Yunost Minsk), Artur Gavrus, Sergei Drozd, Alexei Yefimenko, Alexei Kalyuzhny, Alexander Kitarov, Nikita Osipov, Andrei Stas (all – Dinamo Minsk, KHL), Anton Yeliseyenko (Metallurg Zhlobin), Artyom Kislyi (Toros Neftekamsk, Russia), Yevgeny Kovyrshin (Severstal Cherepovets, KHL), Nikita Komarov (Titan Klin, Russia), Geoff Platt (Lokomotiv Yaroslavl).

On 5 February the Belarusian team will head to Gdansk, Poland to face the host team, Hungary and Italy in the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge tournament.
