Belarusian Mikhail Zhyzneuski, who was killed in Kyiv, will be buried in the village Znamia Truda today.

Activist Andrei Stryzhak writes on Facebook the police check the cars moving to Znamia Truda, where the funeral of the killed Belarusian is expected to take place.

According to Mikhail Zhyzneuski's mother, the car carrying his body arrived at the Ukrainian customs. Nina Zhyzneuskaya is in Homel waiting for her son's body. Relatives of the killed activist remain on the border for more than an hour.

Cars and people in civilian clothes can be seen on both approaches to the village, a charter97.org correspondent reports. Tens of activists from Homel gathered at the cemetery.

A memorial service for Mikhaiol Zhyzneuski took place in Kyiv on January 26. Thousands of people, among them leaders of Ukrainian opposition Vitali Klitschko, Arseniy Yatseniuk, and Oleh Tyahnybok, came to pay their last tribute to the killed Belarusian. People chanted “Hero” and “Thanks, Belarus” during as the casket was carried through Kyiv's streets.

Mikhail Zhyzneuski was killed in Kyiv's Hrushevsky Street on January 22. He died of a gunshot wound to the heart.

Zhyzneuski lived in Ukraine for a long time. He was a member of UNA-UNSO and the youth wing of Vitali Klitschko's party Udar. Officially, Mikhail was killed by an unidentified person with a hunting riffle. He was wounded in the aorta near the heart.
