Ladutska: All “social parasites” must clean streets

The head of the Minsk city executive Committee thinks unemployed citizens should be more involved in street cleaning.

The number of people's requests over employment has increased. It was said by Zhanna Ramanovich, the head of the employment and social protection department at the Minsk city executive committee at a meeting in the mayor's office, BelTA reports.

“The number of requests over employment has increased in Minsk by 0.7% after the head of state's demands to cope with social parasitism. Telephones of employment centres are working non-stop. Minks residents have begun to ask how to register as unemployed,” Zhanna Ramanovich said.

Mikalai Ladutska, the head of the Minsk city executive committee, noted unemployed people should be more actively involved in street cleaning.

The database of the Minsk employment centre has nearly 19,000 vacancies, 73% of which are blue-collar jobs.

About 25% of vacancies are in the construction sector, nearly 21% are in industry.
