Russia's fourth aid convoy preparing to depart for Ukraine

Russia's fourth convoy of trucks carrying humanitarian supplies to the cities of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine is expected to depart on Tuesday.

The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said in a press release.

"A convoy of up to 50 trucks of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia carrying humanitarian aid to the population of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions is expected to leave Noginsk [in the Moscow region] at 1500 p.m. on October 28, 2014," the ministry said.

Russia has already sent three humanitarian aid convoys to the conflict-torn regions in eastern Ukraine.

It was announced on September 24 that the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry was preparing to dispatch another aid convoy to these parts of Ukraine.
