Belneftekhim complains about losses due to Russian ruble fall

Belneftekhim concern reports about difficult conditions for the export of oil products.

“A sharp decline in oil prices, the Russian ruble fall and unfavourable conditions in international markets of the sector's main products have a negative impact on the concern's foreign trade results,” Belneftekhim's council says.

The company notes a significant decline in the demand for and price of tyres, paints and varnishers, fertilisers and polyethylene terephthalate.

The stock reserves comprise 20.2% of the average monthly production output, BelaPAN reports.
