The monument of Ales Shaternik will be set up at the grave of Mikhail Zhiznevski

Mother of the killed on the Euromaidan barricades dreams to set up a monument to her son at the cemetery near Homel.

She liked the design of Ales Shaternik. According to Nina Zhyznevskaya the monument will be set up in spring as soon as snow melts, informs “Radio Svaboda”.

- The monument proves to be eye-catching. It looks like an open book where one of its sides is red and another is black. In the middle of it the Orthodox cross will be installed. A tombstone will also be set up. There will be engraved national emblems of Belarus and Ukraine and placed the last piece of poetry sacred to the memory of Mikhail Zhiznevski, she said.

Nina Zhiznevskaya informs that the tombstone for his son will be built on November 21 in Kiev sacred to Euromaidan movement.

Mikhail Zhiznevski from Homel turned to be one of the first victims of the revolution in Ukraine. The persons responsible remain undiscovered.
