Poland sends two humanitarian convoys to east Ukraine

Poland has sent two humanitarian convoys to help residents of the eastern regions of Ukraine, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.

"I think it is symbolic that in these days Poland has sent two humanitarian convoys to help the residents of Donbas who are now in need of such assistance due to Russian aggression," he said at a press conference in Warsaw on Wednesday.

Poroshenko thanked the Polish government for such a step.
