Deficit of foreign currency payments reaches $119mn

Belarus's foreign currency earnings in January-November 2014 were $39.734 billion.

It is 0.2% less than in January-November 2013. Import proceeds decreased 6.2% to $37.088 billion, according to the data of the National Bank, AFN reports.

The external payments surplus reached $2.647 billion. It, however, does not include export duties on oil products from Russian oil worth $2.766 billion, which were paid to Russia (according to the Russian Ministry of Finance).

If the duties are counted, Belarus's deficit of external payments was $119 million in January-November.
