Ukrainian journalist cornered Sergey Lavrov

A journalist of the Ukrainian TV Channel 112 has cornered Russia’s foreign minister during his press-conference.

In particular, the journalist called actions of Russian on the territory of Ukraine “blasphemy”, and also asked a question about violation of the conditions of the Budapest agreement on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, operkor.net writes.

Answering the question, Sergey Lavrov stated that he knows that according to the treaty, Russia obliges to respect sovereignty of Ukraine. However, as said by him, there is not a word about “recognition of military coups” in it. While answering, Sergey Lavrov was stumbling in speech all the time, probably the question about the treaty relations with Russia has caught him unawares.
