Yarosh: Lukashenka fears revolution no less than Putin

The leader of the Right Sector answered to accusations from the Belarusian dictator.

The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, the leader of the Right Sector, Dmytro Yarosh commented on the statement of Alyaksandr Lukashenka. On October 17 during a press-conference for Russian regional mass media Lukashenka said that the former president Viktor Yanukovych financed the Right Sector, Euroradio informs.

“Viktor Fyodorovich [Yanukovych] financed the Right Sector, as it would be against Yuliya [Tymoshenko],” Alyaksandr Lukashenka said. And added: “He had created a force which ultimately destroyed him.”

As it is known, the Right Sector is an association of right forces in Ukraine, which was set up in late 2013 and which became an organizing force of Maidan. It is a political party now.

In an interview to Esquire Ukraine magazine (#32, December 2014), Dmytro Yarosh refuted the statement by Lukashenka. He stressed that the party’s funding is transparent, and the Right Sector had never adopted any statements against Yuliya Tymoshenko.

Yarosh also noted that many Belarusians “tell about Lukashenka”. And the Ukrainian politician has an impression that such strange statements are made simply because he “fears revolution no less than Putin.”
