US intelligence: Russia is preparing a strike at Donetsk, Lugansk and Kharkiv

The White House has warned that Russian troops are preparing to intervene in Ukraine.

In a secret report, the details of which were anonymously shared with journalists by two representatives of the US administration, it is mentioned that Russian troops are regrouping at the border with Ukraine, which looks likes the maneuvers that Russia carried out before the wars in Chechnya and Georgia, Liga.net reports.

In regards to the report Republican senators from the committee on US Armed Forces sent Barack Obama a secret letter, in which they expressed utmost concern over the developments.

American experts expect strikes at Lugansk, Donetsk and Kharkiv, a march towards Transnistria, and they do not rule out the attempts to seize territories in the Baltic region. General Philip Breedlove, a commander of NATO forces, told congressmen that there are enough Russian forces concentrated at the borders for that.

According to American intelligence data, Russia has already concentrated over 30 thousand troops at its Western border, who are ready to invade Ukraine at any moment.
