Cossacks of Slavutskaya Sich have already finished the legal and special training course organized by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
Lutsk detachment of border guards has admitted Cossacks as its members. The Cossacks are members of the public association “Slavutskaya Sich”. Since April 10 their best members started to patrol the state border in the Dolsk unit area in Volyn region, the press-service of the agency informs.
Within two days the border guards held classes on legal and special training for volunteers, gordonus.com informs.
The Ukrainian-Belarusian border is to be guarded in particular with the help of horses, on which Cossacks had arrived.
We remind that on April 9 it became known that Belarus was holding military drills of rapid deployment forces. Its military units were put on combat alert. Later immediate reaction forces and rapid deployment forces are to be relocated to firing ranges, where their tactical, firing, and physical training qualities will be tested.
The Belarusian army continues the series of combat readiness tests that were ordered by Lukashenka in January 2014. In January-February 2014 the first phase of the combat readiness tests verified the readiness of control bodies and military units of the Belarusian part of the Belarusian-Russian united regional air defense system as well as territorial defense control bodies and units. The second phase began with tests to verify the readiness of the entire Belarusian-Russian regional air defense system. Ukrainian experts do not exclude that Russia can attack Ukraine from Belarus.
