Column of APCs and 500 soldiers enters Slavyansk

An anti-terror operation has been started in Slavyansk.

A column of 500 soldiers and military equipment of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry has entered Slavyansk (the Donetsk region), podrobnosti.ua quotes eyewitnesses writing on social networking websites.

“A column of 500 soldiers of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, 20 armoured personnel carriers, 2 helicopters and several buses has entered Slavyansk. An anti-terror operation will be held,” eyewitnesses report.

The Ukrainian law-enforcement bodies began a special operation in Kramatorsk, the Donetsk region, as part of the anti-terror operation announced by the Ukrainian authorities.
