Threats to take officials of Belarusian Embassy hostages heard in Bishkek

Employees of the Belarusian Embassy in Bishkek will be taken hostages if Kurmanbek Bakiyev not extradited.
On May 2 in Bishkek a rally of a civil activist Ondurush Toktonasyrov was held in front of the Belarusian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. He calls upon the government of Belarus to extradite the former president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev, akipress.org informs.
“The aim of my protest as before is extradition of the state criminal Kurmanbek Bakiyev. I hope, and we shall believe that the trial in Kyrgyzstan related to the events of April 7 is to come to an end soon. But I am not sure that after the court verdict Lukashenka would send Bakiyev back home. He does not want that and does not think about that. The sentence should be enforced,” the civil activist explained.
Toktonasyrov noted that in case Alyaksanr Lukashenka would not change his position after a guilty verdict, he is ready for radical moves. “I am able to think up different scenarios. The essence is, criminal Bakiyev should be extradited to his own country,” he said.
As said by him, it is not excluded that he goes any length and commit violation of the law. “I am even ready to take Belarusian Embassy’s employees hostages,” he said.
Besides, the activist noted that in case Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia want to see Kyrgyzstan among their partners in the Customs Union, Bakiyev should be deported. “If he is not extradited, I would urge all Kyrgyz people oppose joining the Customs Union,” Toktonasyrov added.
During his rally he stood near the embassy building for some time, showing his poster for the surveillance camera. No one came out of the embassy.
After the events of April 2010, the former president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev left Kyrgyzstan and lives in Belarus on the invitation of Lukashenka. Official Bishkek continues to demand his extradition to Kyrgyzstan justice. In Kyrgyzstan Bakiyev is charged with mass murders near the White House during the events of April 7, 2010.
