Fans of football club Partizan disrupted a ceremony to award participants of a pseudo-sporting tournament.
Partizan's fans report about it on VKontakte social network.
On Saturday May 3, the fourth bench press tournament “Slavianski Bogatyr” was held in Minsk for prizes of officially registered youth social and cultural association “Rus Molodaya” (RUMOL) with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo's office in Belarus. RUMOL is headed by Sergei Lushch.
RUMOL activists preferred not to push their luck and ran away.
“The so called 'Rusichi' appeared to be too scared even to talk to us. They preferred to escape from the gym instead of defending their friends, who were 'lucky' to become the main defendants,” Partizan's fans write.
“As a proof, we had our photo taken near the banner they left. We didn't touch Lushch and left the gym. Lonely Sergei Lushch, forgotten by his friends, was the only one to see us off,” the fans of the Belarusian football club write.
Albums of RUMOL's supporters and active members give a good understanding of the group.
Konstantin Burykin, a priest from Hatava (in Minsk suburbs) and one of the curators of the tournament, supports the neo-Nazi organisation “Russian National Unity”.
