Two students teams from Vitsebsk region are to take part in construction of nuclear power plant facilities in Astravets.
Today a meeting of students' teams’ members with representatives of public authorities, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRYU), veterans of students’ teams was held in Vitsebsk regional executive committee. Words of advice and wisdom were said, “fighters” of students’ teams were awarded symbolic passes and commemorative badges, BelTA reports.
At the construction of the nuclear power plant, which had been announced the All-Belarusian Youth Construction, the region is to be represented by students’ team of the Vitsebsk State Technological University (10 students) and Polatsk State University (13 students). The construction team “Berkut” named after Major General G.M. Batalau (VSTU) and “Dzvina” (PSU) unite the best students from educational institutions.
210 members of students’ teams are to work at the All-Belarusian Youth Construction, including 50 persons from Russia.
A joint agriculture unit from all universities of the region has been formed in the region as well. It is to work in Talochyn canning factory.
