“DNR” terrorists ask Lukashenka for recognition

Terrorists of the “DNR” (“Donbas People’s Republic”) want from Russia and Belarus speedier recognition of their sovereignty.

It would allow them “not to take great pains over putting in circulation their own currency, but to transit to the Russian ruble at once.”

“We are carrying out work for creation of our own currency. This process has started,” “the speaker of the supreme council of the DNR” Boris Litvinov stated yesterday, as quoted by “Interfax”.

As said by him, the government of the “DNR” is considering the issue of transition in the ruble zone, but it is impossible so far.

“There is problem in transition to the ruble zone. In order to enter this zone, the republic should be recognized by such countries as Russia and Belarus. Until it has not happened, we cannot discuss the ruble zone. At the moment we are doing everything in our hands to be recognized as soon as possible,” he said.
