Prices in Belarus equal those in belligerent Donbas region

It is January and the idiocy is getting stronger.

Trade Ministry issued that a moratorium on price increase does not end up on January 15. The ban, according to the officials, is of indefinite duration. This is great: for 20 years they have not succeeded in inflation overcoming, and here's the solution as easy as apple pie, "Salidarnast" writes.

It's all happening on the backdrop of gradually increasing prices (e.g. public transport, international trains). And what a shame, gasoline, you have been raised in price officially! And the Trade Ministry's comment is a complete disaster!

Meanwhile, the National Statistical Committee sums up the past year. Officially, the inflation in 2014 made up 16.2% (and as much as 0.6 per cent in December). Blessed is the mind too small for doubt.

These government data barely coincide with reality. It is indecent to compare Belarusian prices to those in Poland (I mean the words on the tip of one's tongue after it). Therefore, let us listen to what people from more troublesome areas say.

Ukrainian resident Ksenia Grigorieva, who left with her husband and little son from Snezhnoe, Donetsk region, for Vitebsk, shared her opinion last autumn with "Belgazeta": "It's more expensive to live here! For example, we bought chicken wings at Br22 000, a pork at Br45 000, and here it's much more expensive. We could pay for jeans BR150 000 at our place. You've got the same prices equal those in belligerent areas".

At the same time, Nestor Ebobisse Molli, a Cameroon football player, in his interview to pressball told why he likes to live in Belarus.

- But are there any disadvantages? the journalist asked.

— In my opinion, it is the economy. Prices rise every day. It is impossible to keep up with them! the sportsman said.

It seems like Nestor Ebobisse Molli and other Belarus guests (including its inhabitants) will have issues of a different kind in 2015: do not keep up with but get away from these wicked prices.
