On January 15 the official dollar exchange rate reached Br15.010, which is a new historic maximum.

Excluding denominations of 1994 and 2000 the exchange rate is 150.100.000.

Belarus takes the leading position in the post-Soviet territory on the level of national currency depreciation against dollar (since 1991), it proves Bela PAN's analysis, carried out today, of official currency exchange rates excluding monetary reforms.

The next four positions are taken by Turkmenistan - 8.750.000, Uzbekistan - 2.424.310, Georgia-1.928.100 and Ukraine — 1.577.124 respectively.

Then follows: Tajikistan — 535.030, Armenia - 95.618, Kazakhstan - 91.775, Russia-66.098, Azerbaijan -39.220, Moldova-16.482, and Kyrgyzstan — 11.979.

The Baltic States are at the bottom of the list: Lithuania - 293.2, Estonia - 132.9, and Latvia - 119.4. Dollar exchange rate in the self-appointed Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, with its own currency, is 11.100.000 rubles without denomination.

Thus, Belarusian currency depreciated against the US dollar by 17.2 times more than the currency of Turkmenistan, 61.9 times of Uzbekistan, 77.8 times of Georgia, 95.2 times of Ukraine, 280.5 times of Tajikistan, 1.570 times of Armenia, 1.636 times of Kazakhstan, 2.271 times of Russia, 3,827 times —of Azerbaijan, 9.107 times of Moldova 12.530 times of Kyrgyzstan, 511.937 times- of Lithuania, 1.129.421 times- of Estonia and by 1.257.119 times more than currency of Latvia. In the case with Transnistria, the ratio fixed at 13.5 times.

The official dollar exchange rate arrived at Br1 million (excluding denominations) in December 17, 1998, Br5 million in May 12, 2000, Br10 million in September 12, 2000, Br15 million in October 26, 2001, Br20 million in April 3, 2003 , Br30 million in March 26, 2010, Br50 million In July 13, 2011, Br90 million In September 3, 2013, Br100 million in May 7, 2014, Br110 million in December 25, 2014, Br120 million in January 6, 2015, Br130 million in January 9, 2015, Br140 million in January 10, 2015.
