Belarusian “cyborgs” defend Donetsk airport

Belarusians are among the fighters that defend the airport in Donetsk from attacks of terrorists.

It is said by the Association of Patriots on Facebook.

“There's a battle right now in the new terminal at the Donetsk airport. The distance is 50-100 meters. Separatists attack from all directions. Artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is working non stop. Our guys, Belarusians, hold positions right of the landing zone,” they wrote.

Militants approached the positions of Ukrainian troops at the airport in Donetsk. Terrorists said they allegedly mopped up the terminal where Ukrainian soldiers were blocked. Leonid Matyukhin, a spokesperson for the anti-terrorist operation, says the battle continues. He denies information coming from separatists, who say they gained control over the airport.

Ukrainian troops have been holding their positions in the strategic site of rebel-controlled Donetsk for several months.
