Portraits of killed politicians in Pinsk

Opposition activists marked the Solidarity Day in Pinsk.

Portraits of victims of the Lukashenka regime – politicians Viktar Hanchar and Yury Zakharanka, businessman Anatol Krasouski and journalist Dzmitry Zavaddski – appeared in streets. The leaflets also informed whom human rights defenders and international organisations consider to be involved in abductions and killings of opposition members.

As charter97.org learnt, portraits were pasted at bus stops, on advertising boards and pillars.

The Day of Solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners and families of abducted pubic figures is marked every 16th day of a month.
