Belarusian “cyborgs” defend Donetsk airport under white-red-white flag

Ukrainians and Belarusians defend the airport in Donetsk together.

A Belarusian white-red-white flag, which was banned by Lukashenka, waves over the positions of volunteers who defend the airport from Russians and terrorists, the Association of Patriots writes on Facebook.

“A white-red-white flag was waving on the positions together with the Ukrainian one. Peski, near the Donetsk airport,” they wrote.

Militants approached the positions of Ukrainian troops at the airport in Donetsk. Terrorists said several times they mopped up the terminal where Ukrainian soldiers were blocked. But representatives of the Ukrainian army say the battle continues. They deny that separatists gained control over the airport.

Belarusians are reported to participate in battles against terrorists.

Ukrainian troops have been holding their positions in the strategic site of rebel-controlled Donetsk for several months.
