Hollande: Conditions still not right to sell Mistral to Russia

The conditions for selling Mistral warships to Russia have not been fulfilled yet.

The statement was made by French president Francois Hollande, BBC reports.

According to him, if the Minsk agreements are not implemented, further sanctions can be imposed on Russia.

France's defence minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said in early January that Russia would receive Mistral helicopter carriers only after resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
