Lukashenka's Administration sued

Activists of the civil initiative against the lawlessness in courts filed a complaint against a state body's misconduct that infringes on the rights of citizens.

Residents of Babruisk (Mahileu region), Krupki (Minsk region), Minsk, Minsk district, as well as people of no fixed address are among signers, Novy chas reports.

The complaint states that on November 12, 2014, 29 citizens including appellants sent the tenth application to meet the chief of the Lukashenka's Administration, but again received a runaround reply. Citizens did not receive any reply towards their complaint. By the way, that was the fortieth activists' appeal to the dictator for the last eight years.

The problem of runaround replies has been the reason to sue the Administration as it does not allow people to solve their specific issues.

The applicants ask the Court to declare activity (inactivity) of Lukashenka's Administration illegal, as it denies them acceptance and does not solve the problem of runaround replies.
