US preparing new sanctions against Russian business

Washington is developing new sanctions against Russia.

The Wall Street Journal source in the White house informs. It specified that new restrictions would concern business sphere, more detailed information was not presented, RBC reports.

At the same time the newspaper's interlocutor admitted that the current package of sanctions hit the Russian economy, but, however, did not change Kremlin's position in the Ukrainian question. He supposed it should take some time for sanctions to result in tangible results.

At the same time the edition indicates there are many proponents of supplying the US lethal weapons as a military assistance to Ukraine. Proponents of this view believe that Ukraine is able to succeed in the military conflict due to these supplies.

The US President Barack Obama is against these supplies. In his interview to CNN last Sunday he emphasized the US would make their way with help of diplomatic pressure. "I don't think it would be wise for the United States or the world to enter the military conflict with Russia. What we are doing, is reinforcing those borders states who are the members of NATO", the head of the White House said.
