Opposition activist from Haradok declared “social parasite” for refusal to work for 2 million

Leanid Autukhou was removed from the database of the employment centre in Haradok.

A member of the BPF party took driver's lessons at the employment centre and received the category E licence. He wanted to work as a driver, and the local timber company offered him a job. But the company didn't have a working vehicle and offered to pay a minimum salary of 2 million rubles while the vehicle is in repair, Euroradio reports.

The activist thinks the vacancies offered by the employment centre are fake. “Why do they offer them at all?” he says. “How can they offer a job of a railway worker with a salary of 750,000 rubles? I don't know why they offer such vacancies. Maybe, they have to do it.”

The activist was removed from the database of the employment centre, because he “declined two job offers”.

Leanid Autukhou ran in the parliamentary “elections” in 2008. He cannot find a job since then. Autukhou wants to prove that the employment centre removed him from its lists for no reasons.
