Belarusians advised against visiting Egyptian towns outside resort areas

The Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus recommends Belarusian nationals to avoid visiting Egyptian towns outside resort areas.

Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik told it media.

“In connection with the increasing terrorist attacks in Egypt, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus advises Belarusian nationals against leaving Egyptian resort areas and visiting big cities and regions of northern Sinai,” Dmitry Mironchik said.

Two blasts in Cairo killed one and injured two more on 3 February. There were also reports on handmade bombs defused at Cairo International Airport. Bomb technicians working on the site said these were dummy devices.
