US Embassy hands over a gift to Kościuszko museum

The US Embassy delegation led by Attorney Scott Roland took part in celebration of anniversary of Tadeusz Kościuszko's birth.

Scott Roland, accompanied by major Yanis Mikits, assistant of the US military attaché in Kiev, donated to the House-Museum of the leader of the national liberation uprising in Belarus, Lithuania and Poland in Kossovo (Ivatsevichy district, Brest region) a ceremonial full dress uniform of cadet of West Point Military Academy, BelaPAN writes.

During the American Revolutionary War Tadeusz Kościuszko designed and supervised the construction advanced for its time, the fortifications at West Point.

During the visit, Roland and Mikits also visited Brest Fortress Memorial, where they paid tribute to the memory of its defenders and laid flowers at the Eternal flame.
