Makei blackmails the EU by participation in Eastern Partnership

Minsk claims to allow Belarusian authorities to participate in the summit in Riga on an equal basis.

This was stated by Vladzimir Makei, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, BelTA informs.

The official stressed that Belarus expected that the delegation would take part in the summit. "But we say to our European partners that we should be invited and participate on an equal basis, so that there was no discrimination towards Belarus", the Minister emphasized.

The preparation for the summit is as normal. The decision on who is to lead the delegation will be taken later.

The Minister added that Belarus would continue its participation in the Eastern Partnership program "until we see that it brings benefits".
