Picket under white-red-white flags near Russian embassy in Prague

An antiwar picket was held near the embassy of Russia in the Czech Republic on February 8.
“Putin, hand off Ukraine” was the slogan Czechs, Ukrainians and Belarusians at the picket of solidarity with Ukraine, Radio Svaboda reports.
Picketers unfurled a big 10-metre yellow-blue flag and several white-red-white Belarusian and Czech flags. They were chanting “Glory to Ukraine” and praying for Ukrainian soldiers who defend their land from occupants.
“We have been living here for 18 years. We come here to support the Ukrainians. They are our brothers and neighbours. Our future depends on the situation in Ukraine. We and the Balts managed to escape from the Moscow yoke. But Moscow is already strong now,” a Belarusian picketer said.
The demonstrators sang the anthem of Ukraine and held a moment of silence to pay tribute to the killed.
