U.S. Vice President: First batch of military vehicles to arrive in Ukraine late March

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden.

Poroshenko told about the situation in the Donbas and informed about the latest regulations, which the Ukrainian parliament had adopted pursuant to Minsk arrangements, Censor.NET reports citing the head of state press service.

Biden told about the decision of the president of the United States to conduct training of 780 Ukrainian soldiers of the National Guard, which will be held in the near future.

The vice president also said that the first batch of military vehicles will arrive in Ukraine in late March to strengthen the defense capability of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president thanked the United States for a strong stance on Crimea and consistent support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
