During the celebration of Victory Day in Moscow on May 9 the whole world is to see the political isolation of Russia.

This statement has been made by Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė in an interview to Radio Svaboda.

“I think that Russia’s aggression has been stopped for the time being, as the conflict continues for the second year. Political isolation has been put into action. It is clearly seen by the example of the parade on May 9. Who is going to come to this parade?” -- Grybauskaitė said.

As said by her, the world has sent a clear signal to Russia that the behavior of the Kremlin is unacceptable.

“Deliveries of heavy weapons and blatant lies to the whole world are unacceptable. Such conduct is similar to terrorism. And the civilized world is making a loud statement about that,” she underlined.

We remind that the majority of European leaders have refused the invitation to the parade in Moscow.

Earlier it was informed about refusals of the president of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, the president of Moldova Nicolae Timofti, the president of Finland Sauli Niinistö, the President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska, the president of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev to attend the parade.

Besides, those who denied to visit Moscow on May 9 include the US president Barack Obama, Germany‘s Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Prime Minister of the Great Britain David Cameron, the chairman of the European Council Donald Tusk, presidents of Poland and Slovenia.
