Russian soldiers will stay in Belarus for ten days.

More than 60 servicemen from the 104th airborne regiments of the Pskov division will have joint military exercises with the Armed Forced of the Republic of Belarus in Brest on Belarus's western border.

As a correspondent of Voennoe.RF learnt from the commander of the 3d airborne squadron of the 104th guards airborne regiment, which is preparing to leave for Belarus, the main aim of the drills is the detection and blocking of illegal military groups and driving the enemy force out of the country.

The exercises include three stages consisting of air dropping, air landing and battle shooting together with a Belarusian tactical group.

Servicemen will use D-6 parachutes provided by the hosting party. The Pskov division is now equipped with more modern D-10 parachutes.

Equipment, weapons and communication tools will be provided by Belarus.

The exercises will involve Belarusian MAZ military trucks. Paratroopers will be equipped with helmets and bulletproof vests of class 5 of the new Ratnik gear.

The visit of Russian servicemen to Belarus will last 10 days. Besides military exercises, Russian soldiers can visit the Brest Fortress, the nature reserve and hold number of sporting events

The 104th airborne regiment regularly holds joint exercises with foreign troops.
