Brest residents save on cigarettes and tickets

Sensational decree No. 222 has been valid for two months already. How have working conditions of individual entrepreneurs changed?

Hrodna entrepreneurs have recently reported that sales had triple decline. Brest entrepreneur Vital and charter97.org reader told about the situation on city markets.

"Brest dwellers' purchasing power has declined and remains unchanged. I have noticed that people are trying to save on everything. Smokers buy cheaper cigarettes, people buy tickets for public transport in advance, they are afraid of the price increase. In general, people have been living in economy regime over 20 years.

Now small business is fading away because of numerous Evroopt, Almi and other Russian supermarkets. People say that upcoming elections have no good faith. The situation in Ukraine has played in favour of "the President" and we will likely suffer another 5 years with a fool", he writes.

It should be reminded that Aliksandr Talstyka, activist of entrepreneur's movement, says the best way to gain respect is to go in for policy and defend their interests.
