Policemen beat a Baranavichy activist

Kiryl Luksha, activist of Young Front, was beaten by police officers after a protest action.

Radio Racyja reports. A victim himself informed about the incident in the Internet. Andrei Taniuta, co-Chairman of Young front, commented on the situation: "Kiryl Luksha held a number of actions against anti-spongers decree. During the regular action the activist was detained and beaten by the police. We consider it official misconduct and the continued political persecution of activists".

It should be reminded that on May 12 Kiryl Luksha and Aliaksandr Pialepa were protesting with a poster "We chose justice" next to the clockhouse of Baranavichy cotton association. The action was against dismissals of workers at the enterprise with his mother among them. This time the activist was carrying the poster asking for help in paying the tax on "parasitism". Kiryl intends to continue his protests and write a bodily blows statement.
