Man from Baranavichy district stole car to get to Minsk and look for job

Having failed to find a job in his native town, a dweller of the Baranavichy district stole a car and drove to the Belarusian capital to look for a job there.

The mother of the owner of a 1992 Ford Escort, reported to the police on July 11 that the vehicle had been stolen from the yard of their house, BelaPAN informs.

Next day, the car was found in Minsk by the road police of Minsk's Zavadski district. A 30-year-old dweller of the town of Haradzishcha of the Baranavichy district was at the wheel.

The man explained he was drunk when he saw the car. He spontaneously decided to take the car and go to Minsk to look for a job.

The man is charged with a car theft.
