Bar exploded in downtown Odesa, one person injured

Another explosion rocked the downtown of Odesa.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the regional police press service.

July 20, at 4 a.m., the police received a message of an explosion having rocked the Liberty bar on 60 Rishelievska Street. As a result of the detonation of an explosive device planted under the door by an unknown person, a security officer had been injured. The man was taken to hospital.

An examination of the crime scene revealed insignificant disruptions of the front door. Preliminary results show the seized fragments being parts of RGD-5 grenade, which have been sent for a forensic examination.

At the moment, an investigative-operational team and explosives experts investigate the circumstances of the accident.
