US imposes sanctions against Belvnesheconombank due to Russia

A number of Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian entities and individuals have been added to sanction lists.

It is reported by Interfax.

The list includes such companies linked to Russia's Vnesheconombank as Development Corporation of North Caucasus OJSC,, Far East and Baikal Region Development Fund OJSC, Belarusian Belvnesheconombank, Russian Agency For Export Credit and Investment Insurance OJSC), Eximbank, Federal Center for Project Finance, Globexbank, Kraslesinvest CJSC, Prominvestbank, Resad LLC, Rose Group, SME Bank, Sviaz-Bank, VEB Asia Limited, VEB Capital, VEB Engineering LLC, VEB Leasing OJSC, RBC reports.

The list includes the following subsidiaries of Rosneft: Vankorneft, Neft-Aktiv LLC, Achinsk Refinery, Angarsk Petrochemical Company, Kuybyshev Refinery, Novokuybyshev Refinery, Orenburgneft, RN Holding, Russian Regional Development Bank, Samotlorneftegaz, Syzran Refinery, Komsomolsky Refinery, Yuganskneftegaz, Rosneft Finance, Rosneft Trade Limited, Rosneft Trading.

Other companies on the list are Izhevsky Mekhanichesky Zavod JSC, OJSC Kontsern Izhmash, MAKO Holding, Airfix Aviation, IPP Oil Products, Langvik Capital, SET Petrochemicals, Southeast Trading, Southeast Trading OY.

The sanctions hit commercial sea ports of Evpatoria, Feodosia, Kerch, Sevastopol, Yalta and Kerch Sea Ferry.

The Specially Designated Nationals List (SDN) includes a number of individuals, in particular businessman Boris Rotenberg's son Roman Rotenberg, a member of the board of the Kontinental Hockey League.

According to Dozhd TV (Rain), the list includes 12 individuals, among them Yanukovych's son Oleksandr.

Sanctions were also imposed on:

Andrey Bulyutin, Business Development Manager at Kalashnikov Concern;

Andriy Klyuyev, co-owner of Active Solar Group that owns solar thermal power stations in southern Ukraine and Crimea and a plant of semiconductors.

Sergey Kurchenko, Russian and Criman businessman, fugitive oligarch. Kurchenko's companies used to make 40% of the total import of oil products to Ukraine. The businessman is still considered to be the owner of Odessa refinery, Kherson refinery and Metallist FC (Kharkiv);

Aleksander Omelchenko, Chief Export Officer for Kalashnikov Concern;

Eduard Stavytsky, former minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine.
